In case anyone was wondering... I would like to promote a change in the status quo, by highlighting a particular facet of a particular problem. I'm not in favor of "gun control", nor am I in favor of "gun rights". I'm in favor of sensibility.
But my opinion will not change anything. The only way I can see to solve the problem is to achieve a consensus as to what the solution is, and that can't be done until we have consensus as to what the problem is.
Here, I am posting one facet of the problem. And that is that we can have, each day, one shooting (or more) in the US that should not have happened. I hope to provide some evidence that this is true through these postings.
